Tower Village Adult Day Health Services

The Tower Village Adult Day Center is licensed by the State of Missouri-State and accepts Medicaid and private fees for services.  The all-day or half-day services are offered to medically frail elders and disabled persons who require supportive services to maintain residence in the community rather than being placed in institutional care.   Tower Village’s integrated philosophy of care offers a wide range of services targeting the specific medical, social, emotional, educational and practical needs of the individual client, affirming his or her dignity and autonomy while allowing him or her to live in the community among family and friends. 

Tower Village Adult Day Center:

• Professional nursing services
• Physician ordered medication assistance and supervision
• Transportation
• Nutrition assessment and nutritious meals
• Physician ordered special diets
• Social activities
• Psychosocial support counseling
• Assistance with personal care
• Recreational activities
• Outings
• Therapy services
• Assistance with doctors’ visits and other personal appointments

Tower Village Senior In-Home Services

The Tower Village Senior In-Home Services program is licensed by the State of Missouri and accepts Medicaid and private fees for services.  Services are provided to medically frail elderly and disabled persons who desire supportive services in order to maintain residence in the community rather than admission to institutional care.  Tower Village in-home services clients are eligible for the support of the Tower Village Wellness Village services without additional fees.  The additional services include a wide range of services targeting the specific medical, social, emotional, educational and practical needs of the individual client, affirming his or her dignity and autonomy while allowing him or her to live independently

In-Home services:

• Nursing visits
• Physician-ordered medication set-up
• Personal hygiene and grooming
• Client’s bedroom cleaning
• Washing client’s dishes
• Client’s Laundry
• Meal preparation
• Errands and grocery shopping

Tower Village Wellness Village

Tower Village wellness support services have been provided throughout its history, first as an outreach service of its skilled nursing facility, and later as an independent program.  The program assists community-dwelling seniors to maintain or improve their health status and independence through health education and monitoring, therapeutic activities, and interpersonal support.  The program staff includes degreed and licensed social workers and therapeutic activity coordinators.  The program is further enriched through the services and support of community volunteers who provide additional activities and opportunities for social interaction.  Through this program, Tower Village supports living choices for those seniors who do not need or do not choose to live in an institutional setting.  The services are also targeted to seniors who do not qualify for formal in-home or adult day care services, even though clients of those programs are eligible to participate in the Wellness Village.
